 | | | INOZINC is a two-component water base inorganic zinc silicate primer. | | | |
 | | | INOZINC is recommended to be used directly to metal as a self-priming primer/coat to provide a long term protection of steel structures against corrosion. Typical uses are for structural steel, bridges, all marine and land-based oil and gas production facilities, and all steel structures exposed to severe weather conditions or exposed to moderate chemical spillage and fumes. | | | |
 | | | • Excellent long-term performance without topcoating even in marine?environment. • Single coat application is sufficient for excellent protection even on surfaces contaminated by firmly adherent rusts.
 • Fast cure, water resistance and hardness are developed in 2 hours.
 • Resistance to mud cracking even at 125 microns thickness.
 • Easy to repair, low cost maintenance.
 • Water base, equipment can be cleaned up with water.
 • Self-inspecting over organic contaminants, film cracks and disbonds immediately if applied over a contaminated surface.
 • Cost advantage over multi-coat systems.
 • Suitable to be topcoated, when required, by epoxy coatings.

 | | | | • Method of Application : | Conventional spray, nylon or polyester bruch for small area	only. When applying INOZINC Primer it is	important to keep the product stirred and to maintain a flow to prevent zinc settling in the spray lines. Also, it is vital to use spray equipment that has not been contaminated with organic solvents | | • Mixing Ratio : | 3Kg (Comp A) to 7Kg (Comp B) | | • Mixing : | Add Comp.B (powder) to Comp. A (liquid) and stir well before application in order to ensure that a uniform consistency	is achieved. Never mix more material than can be used within potlife.	Mixed materials not used within potlife must be discarded. | | • Pot life : | 8 hours (higher temperatures will shorten polife sharply). | | • Thinner / Cleaner : | Do not thin. Clean applying tools by hot water. | | • Application Temperature : | 5-40 ?C at a RH not more than 85% . | | • Curing : | The reaction between the two-component (A & B) can not be	guaranteed unless a temperature of at least 5°C is maintained for the mixture and the substrate until complete curing. Temperature of substrate should be at least 3°C above dew point to avoid moisture condensation during application. Relative humidity during application and initial drying should not exceed 85%. | | • Note : | •	Coated surfaces by INOZINC should not be exposed to water, chemical fumes, or mechanical stresses before it is fully cured. |
 | | | |
 | | | | • Component A : | liquid | | • Component B : | powder | | • Color : | grey | | • Gloss : | flat | | • Volume Solids : | 65 % | | • VOC : | 0.0 g/L | | • Flexibility : | Very Good | | • Solvent Splash and Spill Resistance : | Excellent | | • Temperature Resistance : | 375 ?C | | • Recommended film thickness : | 75-125 microns “dry” | | • Theoretical spreading rate : | 8.7 m²/L at 75 microns “dry” | | • Water resistance : | Excellent | | • Abrasian Resistance : | Excellent | | • Number of Coats : | 1 | | • Specific Gravity (mixed) : | 2.79	kg/L (DIN 51757). | | • Packaging : | Component A (liquid) : 3 Kg in 1 metal can Component B (powder) : 7 Kg in 1 metal can | | • Weather Resistance : | Excellent |

 | | | Well-prepared-surfaces is an essential condition of coating successfulness. In general, surface must be clean, dry, undamaged and free of all contaminants prior to coating. STEEL or GALVANIZING:
Remove all oil , grease, wax…etc from the surface to be coated by thinner S100 or S405.
Apply INOZINC as soon as possible after surface preparation to prevent any contamination.

 | | | |
 | | | | • Dry to Touch : | 15 minutes (ASTM-D1640). | | • Dry to Handle : | 30 minutes (ASTM-D1640). | | • Fully Cured : | 2 hours | | • Note : | Drying times can be affected by many factors such as temperature, ventilation and coat thickness. Relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Higher temperatures will shorten the drying times. |
 | | | |
 | | | • Keep components A & B in a cool and well ventilated place, protected from freeze, heat and direct sunlight. • Shelf life is two years from packing date in unopened original containers at 5 to 40°C. Containers should be kept tightly closed.
 Safety:
 • Well ventilated conditions should be provided during application.
 • Do not breathe or inhale mist.
 • Wear air-mask and avoid skin or eye contact.
 • This Product is for professional use only. Not for residential use.
