Surface Preparation
Coating performance is, in general, proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Surface must be clean, dry or damp but not wet and free of oil, grease and other contaminants prior to coating.

Remove fins and other protrusions by stoning, sanding or grinding.

New concrete: Must be cured at least 28 days at 21?C and 50% RH, or equivalent time.

Old concrete : Abrasive blasting is best to remove all previous coatings, form oils, laitance and other foreign matter. Fill small holes or voids with STOP200 before applying ACR Concrete Sealer.

Notes:

Surfaces coated by ACR Concrete Sealer can be cleaned with neutral detergents using a rotary scrubbing machine to extend its service life.

In highly trafficked areas it is recommended to overcoat ACR Concrete Sealer by a suitable finishing coat.
Drying Time
• Dry to Touch : 30 minutes (ASTM-D1640).
• Dry to Handle : 2 hours "minimum recoat time" 4 hours "maximum recoat time (ASTM-D1640).
Storing Conditions
ACR Concrete Sealer has to be kept in a cool and well-ventilated place, protected from heat and direct sunlight. ACR Sealer is classified under highly flammable materials.

Shelf life is two years from packing date in unopened original containers at 5 to 40°C. Containers should be kept tightly closed.

Safety:

1- Well-ventilated conditions should be provided during application.
